Work in this area examines how organisations adapt their structures and management practices to changing environments, with particular attention to the balance between hierarchy and autonomy and to coordination mechanisms.
Research Projects
A qualitative study of the interaction between organisational culture and change initiatives in four public institutions.
The project comprised 68 in-depth interviews and document analysis.
